April 2008 – Bernadette Continues Transformation Into Full Service Print And Direct Mail Provider.
Introduces New Cut Sheet Color Laser:
Bernadette has added an OCE cut sheet color laser to its print and personalization capabilities. The new laser will allow us to produce highly personalized pieces in full color on a variety of substrates. Our newest addition will allow our customers to produce cost effective high quality variable text and variable color images.
Adds Additional Inserting Capacity:
Bernadette Direct has added 2 additional high-speed Flowmaster 12000 inserters, both equipped with in-line inkjet capabilities and
3 Phillipsburg "Stretch" inserters that allow us to insert #14 envelope packages. Our newest additions puts our inserting capacity at well over 1 million pieces a day and gives us more flexibility to turn complete jobs in under 2 weeks.
March 2008 – Bernadette raises “The American Flag”.
For several years now the flagpole in front of Bernadette’s main entrance has stood without the symbol of our nation. Now with the country at war, employees that have served and the owner being a Vietnam Veteran himself that has changed.
The Stars and Stripes proudly flies atop the flagpole and visitors are directed to the main office by telling them to “Look for the Flag”.
February 2008 – Bernadette takes first step towards a “greener” facility.
With the installation of (185) Lithonia I-Beam Fluorescent High Bay Fixtures, replacing 400w Metal Halide High-Bays & 8’ 2-Lamp Industrials, Bernadette begins their effort to reduce energy usage while providing a superior quality visual environment for employees.
The I-Beam fixtures not only deliver up to 50% savings in energy cost, but also have a 25% longer lamp life which reduces the cost of recycling and mercury disposal. Plus with a 20% greater CRI, (color rendering index) colors are much truer to the press operators throughout the facility.
Bernadette is happy to reduce energy cost, help conserve natural resources and better enhance the environment for employees.
January 2008 – Jet Becomes St. Louis’ Newest 4 Color Envelope Provider
Bernadette's Jet Envelope Division took delivery of a Halm EM4000 state of the art envelope press and can now provide four-color process/spot perfected envelopes up to 9” x 12” in size. Call your Customer Service Representative for pricing.
December 2007 - Bernadette Introduces Bernadette Direct
Bernadette's Data Processing, Personalization and Mail Services Division completing our plan to become a completely integrated solution provider to the targeted marketing industry.
November 2007 - Bernadette Deploys New Shop Floor Management System
Bernadette has deployed the Avanti Print Management System that will provide real time project information improving our response time to our clients.
July 2007 - Bernadette Appoints George Mitschele as President and COO
George has over 20 years of print, paper and lettershop experience and will be spearheading Bernadette's transformation into a fully integrated provider of direct mail services.
April 2007 - Bernadette Completes Purchase of Jet Envelope
Bernadette has purchased Jet Envelope a leading supplier of Jet envelope services since 1984. The acquisition is part of Bernadette's strategy to be a full service provider of printed products and services.
